The Studio 1907 floor lamp was first designed in 1907 by Mariano Fortuny and is still considered a contemporary icon. The versatile artist's talent gave shape to the design of the Fortuny lamp, with which he revolutionised stage lighting by experimenting with a new indirect lighting system for the stage, thereby creating a way to direct light. With its experience also in the lighting field, Activa made this collaboration possible, from technical consulting through to production start-up.
